FASEB  Science Research Conference on ‚NAD Metabolism and Signaling‘

June 7-11, 2026

Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront | Melbourne, FL | #NADMSRC

https://events.faseb.org/event/f3543a13-af42-4d84-9727-4d85ad1cd683/summary

Since 2009, the FASEB  Science Research Conference on ‚NAD Metabolism and Signaling‘ has brought together researchers and clinicians investigating the diverse roles of NAD+ and its metabolites in cell signaling, cellular health, aging, and disease. This year’s program will further study the age-dependent changes of NAD metabolome and aging-related diseases. The program will also review investigations of NAD+ repletion as a potential strategy to counteract age-related or injury-induced pathologies in muscle and cardiovascular physiology, Parkinson’s, neuroprotection, and autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Further topics are: (i) the most recent discoveries in the NAD+-mediated signaling, from biochemical aspects to clinical data and disease, (ii) the most recent techniques used in the NAD+ field, (iii) how clinical studies have evaluated NAD+ repletion’s promise as a pharmaceutical intervention, and (iv) the therapeutic potential of novel inhibitors targeting mono-ADP-ribosyltransferases within the PARP family.

GRC 2026

USA, June 2026

The 2026 Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Calcium Signaling will take place June 7 - 12, 2026, at the Jordan Hotel at Sunday River in Newry, Maine, USA. This year’s topic, “Expanding the Calcium Signaling Toolkit Across Time and Space,” will bring together leading experts to discuss cutting‑edge and unpublished advances across the calcium signaling field. The program includes high‑level scientific talks, poster sessions, and dedicated opportunities for networking. The main GRC will be preceded June 6 - 7 by the Gordon Research Seminar (GRS), a pre-meeting exclusively for trainees and junior scientists.

Important for the ECS community, GRCs require strong participation to remain viable. To help secure the continuation of this flagship meeting, we strongly encourage early registration.

Applications are open until May 10, 2026.

EMBO workshop Plant calcium signaling

20 – 24 September 2026 | Primosten, Croatia

The PCS2026 EMBO workshop will highlight the latest developments on the role of Ca²⁺ signalling in responses to environmental factors such as light, abiotic stress, and pathogens. A special focus will be placed on the crosstalk between different response pathways and on the emerging importance of connections between topics that have so far been mostly studied in isolation from one another—for example, the regulatory roles of Ca²⁺ channels in auxin signalling and plant development.
PCS2026 will also address recent advances in live-cell imaging that enable the analysis of (sub)cellular, tissue-specific, and systemic responses, as well as research on non-model organisms, particularly crops and algae.
The programme and the order of the sessions have been optimised based on previous meetings. The lectures are organised into seven sessions, in which leaders in their respective fields will introduce the topics and highlight the current state of research, followed by several selected short talks from participants based on submitted abstracts.
The meeting will be opened by David Clapham, a pioneer in the study of Ca²⁺ signalling in animals, and closed by Julian Schroeder, who pioneered the use of genetically encoded calcium indicators in plants.
